The ABCs of Rivendell’s Committees
Join a committee, have some fun.Talk to your neighbors, meet new people, socialize and discuss things that interest you, or get into problems and issues in Rivendell that need some attention. Sign up - contact one of the committee chairmen listed for more info or just show up at a monthly meeting. You won’t regret it.  

Communications Committee
Help provide and disseminate useful information to all members of the Rivendell Community. Discuss and share your thoughts on the good, the bad and ugly with your neighbors through our monthly newsletter. Write a little, or give ideas for others to write, about things you are concerned about or find interesting. We also need help with our website, data gathering and block captains.

Swimming Pool
This group of residents discusses and helps monitor use, policy, safety, care and maintenance issues at our community pool.

Environmental
Work on projects and actions designed to protect and enhance the natural beauty of our surroundings, including all our lakes, ponds, wetlands, preserves, paths, parks and common areas. Discuss the proper use and long term care of these common areas. Discuss environmental issues affected by our choices as individual homeowners and as a community.

Landscaping
Discuss and provide recommendations regarding landscaping, trees, shrubs, grass lighting, irrigation, improvements and maintenance of our common areas. Help with plantings.

Management Oversight
Help explain and define our standards and thresholds to our management company regarding deed restrictions and homeowner property Maintenance. Help them with inspections, reports, and letters to homeowners and follow up of work required.
